Exporb Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 25, 2026

Aeon Kosmos, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

01

1. Our Commitment

Exporb is designed to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Our Goals:

  • Make Exporb perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users
  • Support assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation)
  • Provide alternative text for images and media
  • Ensure sufficient color contrast for readability
  • Enable full keyboard navigation
02

2. Current Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation

  • All interactive elements accessible via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Arrow keys)
  • Logical tab order following visual layout
  • Skip-to-main-content link on every page
  • Focus-visible indicators on all interactive elements
  • Modal dialogs trap focus and support Escape to close
  • No keyboard traps - users can navigate freely

Visual Design

  • Dark Mode: High-contrast dark theme available for light sensitivity
  • Color Contrast: Text meets WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Text Resizing: All text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Focus Indicators: Clear visual focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Responsive Design: Layout adapts to different screen sizes and orientations

Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic HTML with <main> landmark for proper document structure
  • ARIA labels, roles, and aria-modal on all dialog components
  • Descriptive button and link text
  • Form labels programmatically associated with inputs via htmlFor/id
  • Toast notifications use aria-live regions; errors announced assertively

Tested with: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)

Mouse & Touch

  • Touch-friendly clickable areas for mobile interactions (working toward 44x44px minimum)
  • No reliance on hover-only interactions
  • Swipe gestures with alternative button controls
  • No time-sensitive actions (users can take as long as needed)

Content

  • Clear, concise language (avoiding jargon where possible)
  • Consistent navigation and UI patterns
  • Error messages with clear instructions for correction
  • Loading states and progress indicators
  • Meaningful headings and document structure

3. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, there are some known limitations we are actively working to address:

Audio Recording UI

Issue: Real-time waveform visualizations during recording may not be fully accessible to screen reader users.

Workaround: Audio recording status is announced via text ("Recording...", "Paused", "Stopped"). Visual-only waveforms do not affect core functionality.

Business Card Scanning

Issue: OCR-based business card scanning requires visual input and may be challenging for users with low vision.

Workaround: Users can manually enter contact information via fully accessible forms.

Third-Party Integrations

Issue: Some third-party services (Stripe payment forms, Supabase authentication) are embedded via iframes or external scripts and may have their own accessibility limitations.

Status: We select third-party providers that maintain their own accessibility compliance (Stripe maintains WCAG 2.1 AA compliance for their hosted payment pages). If you encounter accessibility issues with embedded services, please report them to us.

We are actively working to improve these areas in future updates. See Section 7 for our roadmap.
